Alexa Dominique Pascual addressed the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development Follow-up twice, speaking on the international financial architecture and on sustainable business and finance for development impact.
The ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development Follow-up reviews implementation of the Sevilla commitments each spring. The Foundation's Observer to UN Headquarters and the Bretton Woods institutions used both interventions to press for youth-responsive reform of the international financial architecture.
The Foundation holds accreditations and observer arrangements across the United Nations system, which allow its representatives to take the floor in intergovernmental meetings. Interventions are prepared by the Secretariat and, where applicable, coordinated with the Major Group for Children and Youth, whose constituency the Foundation regularly represents.
