During the Annual Meetings in Washington, the Office of the Foundation’s Observer to the Bretton Woods institutions, led by Alexa Dominique Pascual, met H.E. Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group.
The invitation to the closed plenary of the 2025 Annual Meetings made the Foundation the first youth-led NGO in the history of the Fund and the Bank to take part at that level. Around the plenary, the delegation held bilateral meetings with World Bank Executive Directors, the Stakeholder Engagement Office and the President of the World Bank Group.
Bilateral meetings such as this one are conducted by the Office of the Executive Director and the Foundation's observer offices, which maintain working relationships with member states, intergovernmental organisations and civil society partners.
