In discussion at the Carnegie Endowment

5 February 2025

Representatives led by Alexa Dominique Pascual joined a high-level discussion with Jon Finer, former Principal Deputy National Security Adviser, on global security and the role of youth in policymaking.

Jon Finer served as Principal Deputy National Security Advisor of the United States. The discussion at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace covered global security, multilateral cooperation and the entry points for young people in international policymaking.

The Foundation takes part in a broad range of multilateral processes beyond its headline engagements, reflecting its conviction that youth perspectives belong in every forum where the future is negotiated.

The full texts of related statements, submissions and reports are available in the documents library on the Publications page, where they can be filtered by category and year.

This article is part of the Foundation’s public record of its engagements and programmes.
