DMUN became the first youth-led NGO invited to the closed Plenary Meeting of the Fund and the Bank, and held bilateral meetings with World Bank Executive Directors and the Stakeholder Engagement Office.
The invitation to the closed plenary of the 2025 Annual Meetings made the Foundation the first youth-led NGO in the history of the Fund and the Bank to take part at that level. Around the plenary, the delegation held bilateral meetings with World Bank Executive Directors, the Stakeholder Engagement Office and the President of the World Bank Group.
The Foundation treats diplomacy as a craft learned by doing. Its young officials prepare, conduct and follow up on meetings with senior counterparts themselves, supported by the Secretariat's protocol and liaison services.
