How we use it

What we do not do
The Foundation does not sell personal information, does not display advertising on its websites, and does not share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Sharing
Personal information is shared only with service providers used to operate the Foundation’s activities, such as the myMUN conference platform used for programme registration, and only to the extent needed for those activities. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Young people
Many participants in the Foundation’s programmes are minors. The Foundation collects only the information needed for participation, and parents and guardians may contact the Foundation at any time about their child’s information. Where the law of a participant’s country requires parental consent for the processing of a minor’s information, the Foundation relies on that consent.
Retention and security
Personal information is kept for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and access to it within the Secretariat is limited to those who need it for their functions.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information the Foundation holds about you, and individual members may request the removal of all of their associated data. Requests are made through Form E7 (Request Access to Personal Data) and Form E5 (Request for Removal of All Associated Data of an Individual Member), available on the Inspector-General and Ombudsman page, or by writing to [email protected].
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated from time to time, and the current version is always published on this page. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
